Each insert can hold up to 15 eyeshadows, since this palette can fit two inserts that means I could get up to 30 eyeshadows in it.The whole thing ends up being really expensive when you compare it to other palettes or individual shades from somewhere cheaper, but I've wanted some of these eyeshadows for really long and I don't intend on filling this palette overnight. The MAC eyeshadow refill pans are £10 each. The double-sided pro palette (you can only buy pro products online or in pro stores) is £10 and each insert is £2.50. I myself am a nude eyeshadow kind of person, I never wanted to try any colour on my eyes till I came across this.Īll four eyeshadows in the MAC Pro palette If you're afraid of colour but still want something a bit more interesting then cranberry is a great choice, it's not like a neon shade and doesn't really stand out. There is no chunky glitter in there at all. If you’re going for a more neutral look, play with nude or burgundy shades, such as what’s found in the Eye Shadow x 9: Semi-Sweet Times Nine palette. Cool blues, plums and greens work well and can add a dramatic effect to light-to-medium brown eyes. With a primer is lasts all day on my lids, I haven't really tried it without one yet, but I can tell that it would still be long lasting, in fact, all four of these eyeshadows last pretty long on me.Ĭranberry is a gorgeous frost finish shade for autumn/winter and is described by MAC as a "red-plum with pink shimmer", although the shimmer is not too much and definitely not too pink. Brown eyes are complemented by almost any colour. You could use this shade in different ways, but normally I put it all over my lid with cork in my crease. Antiqued is a veluxe pearl finish, it blends beautifully and is very pigmented. MAC describes Antiqued as an "ash brown with bronze". Overall, I will definitely recommend it to anyone. The pigmentation is very good and it blends very smoothly. Cork is a really nice colour to use in your crease or even as the transition shade, this is how I normally use it. Ricepaper is one of MAC's bestselling shades and I finally understand why.Ĭork is a satin finish eyeshadow which MAC describes as a "muted golden brown". Ricepaper is a Frost finish, so it is shimmery, but not too much, I think it is still suitable for everyday wear if you don't go over the top with it. It's a beautiful highlight shade to use on your brow bone and even the inner corner of your eyes to give your eyes a brighter, more awake kind of look. Ricepaper is described as a "peachy gold with shimmer" by MAC cosmetics, I think that is a perfect description.
